Download a region to use charts, search and your data without coverage. Autorouting requires Plus and a supported region. Online adds water levels and AIS. Weather is coming in a later update.
Routes & navigationPlan routes and follow your course.
Plan routes on the chart and follow them with bearing, distance, cross-track error and ETA. Autorouting with Plus (beta) knows your draft, avoids land and restricted areas and treats unknown depths as shallow.
Depth & speedUnderstand charted depths and speed.
Enter draft, air draft, cruising speed and safety margin once. Charted shallow areas are shaded for your safety depth. An optional chart alarm warns about charted shallow water at your position while the map is open and loaded. A separate depth alarm uses a connected sounder. Speed limits appear where zone data exists.
Tracks & alarmsRecord trips and set alarms.
Record your track with the screen off, export and import GPX. The anchor alarm keeps watch while you sleep.
AIS & water levelsView vessel traffic and water levels.
German water levels from PEGELONLINE and live AIS traffic around your chart view. Weather forecasts are coming in a later update.

Which charts include depths?
A worldwide base map is not worldwide nautical coverage. Each published region below lists the data it includes.
- Modelled depths · EMODnet
- European coastal regions: EMODnet seabed models provide depth shading, contours and sampled depth labels, with OpenSeaMap seamarks. These are not official hydrographic soundings or harbour surveys.
- Chart-derived depths · NOAA
- Chesapeake Bay, Florida Keys, Long Island Sound, Puget Sound and San Francisco Bay: selected depths and chart features derived from NOAA ENCs. Coverage can be partial; no autorouting.
- Chart imagery · viewing only
- Berlin/Brandenburg, Rhine, Elbe and Auckland approaches: chart images in the separate reference viewer. North Atlantic GEBCO is a seabed overview. These do not supply live navigation depth checks.
Depth layers can have gaps within a region. A depth label is chart data, not a live reading beneath your boat. Red shading marks charted shallow areas for your safety depth; the sounder alarm requires a connected sounder. A separate, optional chart-depth warning uses available chart data and is not a depth measurement. None of these maps replaces current official nautical charts.

No account. Your routes stay on your device.
For AIS, search and routing, our own server processes your position without storing it permanently. Live sharing temporarily stores your position. See the privacy policy for details.
What is free, and what does Plus include?
One offline region of your choice with updates, manual routes, tracks, logbook, GPX export and basic alarms remain free. Plus adds more regions with updates, autorouting in supported regions, tide predictions and connections to onboard instruments. Plus is a monthly or annual subscription; prices and renewal terms appear in the app before purchase. Outside your free region, downloaded charts also require active Plus. The verified expiry is saved for offline use. Trips already started with Plus can finish; saved files, routes and tracks are not deleted.
What works offline?
Download your cruising ground before departure. Charts, place search and manual routes then work without a signal. Autorouting requires Plus and a supported region. Live AIS and current water levels need an internet connection.
Is my cruising ground covered?
The published catalogue includes 44 cruising grounds in Europe and the USA. The overview lists available downloads and marks upcoming regions. Planned reference charts do not add navigation coverage. The base map is available worldwide.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed. Your routes, tracks and settings stay on your device. If you share your live position, it is temporarily stored on our server.
