Delete your Kurshalter data
Kurshalter does not require a user account. You can still request deletion of contact, problem-report and beta data stored by us.

Email contact@kurshalter.com with the subject “Kurshalter – delete my data”.
- If possible, use the email address you used for your message or beta signup.
- Specify the data involved: contact enquiries, feedback or problem reports, Android beta application or iOS waitlist.
- Include a reference number or approximate date if available. Please do not send passwords, identity-document copies or unnecessary location data.
If we need information to identify or confirm the request, we will ask specifically. Sending a request does not confirm deletion; you will receive a response about its handling. You can also withdraw beta consent for the future using the same address.
What data does this cover?
A request can cover your email address, submitted messages, device and version information you supplied, beta signup details and related internal handling notes. We also consider the related correspondence in the support mailbox. The active database is hosted by Railway in EU West; pending email deliveries may also be temporarily stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Deleting an entry from the administration view alone does not remove separate Gmail copies or existing database backups. Related mailbox and pending-queue copies are handled separately. Daily database backups expire after six days and are not used for further contact; previously completed deletions must be applied again after a restore.
Ordinary enquiries are deleted once fully handled and no follow-up is expected, at the latest after six months. This also applies to Android test enquiries. iOS waitlist entries are removed after notification or withdrawal, at the latest six months after signup. Legal retention obligations or establishing, exercising or defending specific legal claims may require us to retain particular records longer. See the privacy policy for details.
Routes, tracks and settings on your device
These records are stored locally in the app. An email request cannot remove them from your device. Delete individual entries in Kurshalter. To remove all local app data, clear the app's storage in Android system settings or uninstall it; on iOS, delete the app rather than offloading it. Export anything you want to keep first. Previously exported files and your own device backups must be removed separately.
Stop active live shares in the app. This does not remove copies already saved by recipients.
Purchases and subscriptions
A deletion request does not cancel a purchase or subscription. Manage subscriptions and purchase enquiries through Google Play or Apple. The provider may retain payment and purchase records under its own retention rules.
